Welcome to the 2012-2013 kindergarten school year! This is a very exciting time, but I know it can be a little scary as well! We are going to have a meet and greet time on Tuesday, July 31st, from 5 to 6 in room 306 if you would like to come by and quickly see the new classroom and meet your teacher. Seeing the new classroom before school starts may help with some of those first day jitters.
Also attached is the up to date supplies list. If you are able, please bring in your supplies on the 31st. This way you will be able to have your hands free on the first day of school and we can have everything put away and the classroom looking beautiful!
I hope to see you on Tuesday the 31st, but if not, look forward to seeing all of my new kindergarteners at 8:30 on Thursday the 2nd, for the first day of school!
o 1 Backpack (without wheels, please! At least 16”H x 12”W)
o 3 Boxes of crayola crayons (48 count or more)
o 2 Boxes of classic colored crayola markers
o 1 Package white card stock (8 ½ x 11- Available at Walmart, Office Max)
o 10 glue sticks
o 1 Bottle of Elmer’s washable school glue
o 3 Boxes of Kleenex
o 1 Roll of paper towels
o 3 Packages baby wipes
o Crayola Water Color Paints
o 2 Expo Dry Erase Markers
o 1 Package high lighter pens
o 1 Package yellow #2 pencils (Dixon or Paper Mate)
o 4 Pink Pearl Erasers
o 1 – Take home folder (2 pocket Folder please)
o GIRLS – Dinner size paper plates (100 count or more)
-1 Box Ziploc sandwich bags (100 count or more)
- White lunch size paper bags (100 count or more)
o BOYS – Small size paper plates (100 count or more)
-1 Box gallon size Ziploc bags
-Brown lunch size paper bags (100 count or more)
Thank you ahead of time for your cooperation in purchasing these much needed supplies! Please try and buy the brand names specified, they are more durable and will last longer. (PLEASE NO ROSE ART BRAND) Also, be advised that your child’s teacher may have an additional wish list specific to their class.
