Our field trip to OPG Tucson Museum
of Art and Ft. Lowell Park is coming up this
Tuesday, April 8th, Thursday, April 10th and Friday April 11th.
These are just a few reminders for
those days.
· We will be leaving the school by 8:45
those mornings, please make sure that your student is on time to school that
morning to get ready!
· We are eating a picnic lunch at Reid
Park after OPG so your student needs to come to school with a lunch that day. On Thursday, your student will need to bring a
lunch, which we will eat at the park after the museum. Please do not pack their
lunch in a lunch box. Please use a paper
bag or old plastic shopping bag, this way we can dispose of everything at the
park and no one will leave behind a favorite lunch box. Please label their lunch as well so there is
no confusion when we are passing out the lunches.
· Friday we will come back to school
for lunch so your student can have school lunch or you may pack a lunch.
· To make our class easy to spot please
make sure that your student wears a RED collared shirt or RED LPA
shirt to school these days. Your student
may also wear jeans. It can be dusty at the
parks so please make sure that your student wears some good tennis shoes that
can get dirty.
· If it is cold those mornings please
send a jacket with your student that they can tie around their waist when it
gets warm. Your student is responsible
for their own jacket/coat!!!
· Your student may also bring a hat to
wear ONLY ON FRIDAY.
· If you would like your student to
wear sunscreen on these field trips please apply before they come to
school. Ms. Hayde and I cannot put
sunscreen on the students.
