Week of September 9th

        Welcome to another wonderful week of kindergarten!  Volleyball season is upon us and there will be a few days that I will not be able to walk the students up front for pick-up due to a game.  Upcoming games:

We are starting Book It this month!  If your student turns in their reading logs for every week this month they can earn a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut!  Reading every night with your student is very important and I love to see what you are reading!

We will be having parent/teacher conferences the week of September 26^th-October 2^nd.  I will be putting a sign up sheet on the door later this week, please sign up for a time.  Each conference will be 10 minutes long, so it will be very important that you are on time so we can start right away.

During conferences we will be going over the report cards and any questions for the year.  Thank you for your support!

This week homework will go home today, Monday, and is due on the following Friday, September 20th.  Part of homework will be to fill out a poster all about your student!  Please help them with this project and we will show them off in the room.

Keep counting and working on letters and letter sounds with our student.  Especially review those that they may have missed on heir progress report.

Also please count with your student every night.  Our goal is to count to 25 without skipping any numbers.
